@JolienMonsterr NailTek is a good brand a little under 10 bucks depending where you go. Sally Hansen is the next best thing…I get Sally Hansen “Hard as nails” and put that on as a base…change it every week and 1/2..

Well, I use acetone …
Well, I use acetone to remove the nail polish that I have on to redo my nails, but I don’t do it a second time on my bare nails if that’s what you mean. Also, I stopped using the Tough Cookie base coat as a base. I’ve been putting the nail color straight on my nails and then using Tough Cookie as a top coat just to use it up, and the polish has been staying on just fine.

essie color stays …
essie color stays on the best for me. Orly won’t hold on my nails and a few other top brands too. Have you tried wiping your nails with a little acetone beforehand since most people have oily nail beds. (Me included!)

I’ve been having a …
I’ve been having a major chipping problem with my nail polish. I’ve bought a base coat (Tough Cookie by Orly) and a top coat (Extra Life by Revlon) and it still doesn’t help! My nail polish chips the day after I paint them! Is it just my life style or am I doing something wrong?
