why alot black neighborhoods allow this?

my family and i live in a majority black area of atlanta i noticed for the longest that many asians mainly korean, vietnamese, and indians own alot of businesses here and they act like they dont want you there.for example many koreans own beauty supply stores which i no longer make purchases are very rude, many now own urban wear shops with a no return policy, nail salons where they speak their native tongue around customers then have no issue saying the price in english(again i no longer get manicures from asian shops), many also own grocery stores with rancid smells in them and high prices.then many asian indians are also disrespectful at the gas stations either making sexually obscene comments/flirting about women and agian being rude to customers.this doesnt happen if at all in white communities.so why some blacks choose to take this?
why should i move i was here first i just want it to change
first and formost i am very active in my community im asking other blacks why does this happen i dont "sit and complain"
puppy i always bring up that case back from 92 your answer is the truth there is still a small middle/upper class of blacks staying in historic black areas but i dont it when they leave either
louisa i did write some asians not just asians im aware there are some thats legit
tiger my spelling is correct i dont live in a "ghetto" even if so dont disrespect me
also tiger thats like me saying dont eat any children because youre a pagan

probably #1 because they dont have the $$ or education to start up their own shops. When they do get the money they move out of the black area.

Before the 80s/90s it wasn't like that. Black shop owners, doctors, lawyers all lived within the community. Now though, once people get $$ they forget where the come from.

But really our work ethic is different from those asian immigrants..because they had to go through a lot to get to America and settle while we were just born into the neighborhood. Also they probably came over business-minded, so they have an education about how to keep their beauty shops open etc.

Also we need to support each other and go to black owned businesses.

These things do happen in white communities. Come and visit my neighbourhood, where the population is predominately white.

If you don’t like it move, I am.

Then report each and every business that has given you concerns. Rally the rest of the community that feels the same to put in petitions for better service and product. DO something about it, don’t complain if you’re not willing to relocate.

yea i notice that too. it seems as if the asians come to this country to make money OFF of black ppl, and do not respect black ppl.
    i don’t shop at those places. i don’t get manicures/pedicures anyway.

i did hear from indians that the most racist indians are the darker ones. so maybe that is true? but yea, if you don’t go they don’t get paid. then maybe they’ll change their attitude

because we have better things to worry about. there is no way to change people so why waste the energy trying to? if you know you are being your best, then just pray for the ones who are not.

I’ve never lived in a black neighborhood, but the last four pedicures I’ve gotten were at shops run by Asian people. twice the people giving my pedicure spent the whole time talking to the person next to them in a language other than English and ignoring me. I got great pedicures, though, and that’s what I paid for, so I don’t care.

While I have a high opinion of the Asian people I deal with…I agree that there is a money-greedy sector of their populations that only cares about money and nothing else…in my opinion…there is absolutely no reason to give such people business.

In my town, there are several Asian-run businesses which offer excellent customer service and high quality products, so I don’t think it’s advisable to indict the entire community.

How to counter act this problem?…are you young…do you have 5 or 6 best girlfriends? Enter into a "partnership" agreement and agree that in the next 5 years, you will save your money and collectively invest in a beauty supply store in your neighborhood…the same goes for salons, restaurants…that’s how you counteract this problem. Invest in your community.

Jerks come in every color, nobody has the market on that.

A good business person takes care of the customer no matter what the race, color or whatever.

If they are rude, tell them so and take your business elsewhere, then tell your friends so they boycott those businesses also….
