I think she’s …
I think she’s obviously trying to make a costume, but historically speaking, few women were flappers. They were rebellious women who smoked, had bobbed hair, and short skirts. The epitomized the objection of stereotypes but ultimately objectified women as sexual objects.

If you actually …
If you actually LOOK at 1920s fashion, very few women had fringe on their outfits. Dancing girls appearing in shows would have very long fringe w/ very short dresses occasionally, but the average vamp girl looking for a party wouldn’t have worn that sort of thing. I know you’re not trying to present a historically accurate portrayal of 20s flapper wear (that’s obvious), but you could have put some EFFORT into it, like, I dunno, actually WEARING the costume and adding more accessories? One star.

a) flapper is …
a) flapper is because of a similiarity to butterflies. The mentality was very “live for today”, just like butterflies who die in one day.
b) that is not a flapper dress, that is a mini skirt. Flapper dresses were to the knee or longer. Short pearls also a no no. Actually should be very long string with a knot in them.
c) for makeup add kohl around the eyes. Think goths but less definition. Make your eyesockets caves.
